A very old temple renovated recently. It has one Raja gopuram.
East facing Somanatha Swamy has a big square avudayar which is believed that sage Agathiyar worshipped here . There is a Agathiyar statue kept in the entrance. Daily morning sun rays are garnishing sivalingam. Akilandeswari ambal facing south. Only siva lingam was identified and a Jain person helped to build this temple. Temple built beautifully around big peepal tree along with all prahara sannidhis. Seperate sannidhi for Lord Ganesha, Lord Muruga and Lord Iyyapan along with Navagrahas. Madapalli is available.
