Moolavar: Sri Kuberaeswarar
Amman: Sri Vembunayaki
This temple is found to the North of the Thiruverkadu Vedapureeswarar Temple and is the 7th lingam in the Ashta lingam around Thiruverkadu.
The temple is in middle of the village and in earlier days the sivalingam was beneath a Neem tree from which the villagers found milk flowing out. After looking at it carefully found a sivalingam and built the current temple and named the goddess Vembunayagi.
