Moolavar: Sri Bhimeswarar
Amman: Sri Dharmabikai
A very old temple named as Bhimeswara, as the name suggests a huge east facing linga Murthy and an elegant Ambal named as Dharmabikai bless us. Sivan and Ambal were unearthed from a sarakondrai tree and later built this temple. This temple has a huge temple tank in front of sivan, which has been maintained very well.
All ghosta murthies,Biravar and Navagrahas placed appropriately. Another huge siva lingam is placed under a tree inside the campus.
This temple has associated Vishnu temple also nearby hence people calling it as siva Vishnu temple.
It opens at 7:30 daily orukala poojai and then all auspicious days are celebrated in a grand manner.
