Moolavar: Sri Sivapureeswarar

Karur District, Kulithalai taluk, 2 km east of Ayyarmalai, Sivayam Arulmigu Sivapuriswarar Temple is located in the remote village of Sivayam. The town also has the ancient name of Sivapathasekarapuram. The temple is an ancient Shiva temple known as Ayyarmalai next to Adisivayam.
The 16 foot hall is located in front of the Rajagopuram of Sivayam Arulmigu Sivapuriswarar Temple. On the stone in the middle on the left, Ganesha is seated with a woman on his lap, facing east. On the stone on the right, Lord Murugan sits on a peacock with four arms.
16 Outer Exterior of the Hall On the east side of the hall at the top is a monkey, a lizard, a head dragon, a monkey photographed. Nandiyemperuman gives a view in four directions on all four sides.
In this 16 foot hall, on the day of Markazhi Thiruvathira, the great Natarajar who is present in this temple will rise in the 16 foot stone hall. Natarajar and Sivagami Ambalu`s Aruthra festival is held every year.
Rajagopuram:
To the east is a brick urn with a 5 level royal tower. The Rajagopuram door is called the Ramayana door.
Centennial Hall.Going beyond the royal tower and inside there are unfinished masonry. Adjacent to it is the Swing Hall facing south. The annual Thiruvathirai Natarajar Abhishekam, Arudra Darshan is being held at the Swing Hall.
In the middle of the temple is a tower with 5 copper vessels with two levels.
