Moolavar: Sri Vanniswarar
Amman: Sri Soundranayagi
A beautiful small temple attached to a Vanni Tree in the village of Padapai. It is said that this is over 300 years old and has always been under the Vanni tree. Locals have built a beautiful small Sannidhi.
Swamy and Ambal are in the vigraham form right above the sivalingam. The sivalingam is very unique and has both sivalingam and Nandhi carved in front.
It is also said that Sri Variyar Swamigal used to visit the Ganesha temple very next to this Siva tenple and this has been his favourite place. A separate Sannidhi for Variyar Swamigal is in the Ganesha temple.
