Sri Velleeswarar Temple, Manapakkam

Moolavar: Sri Velleeswarar
Amman: Sri Tripurasundari Ambal
Place: Manapakkam, Chennai

A beautiful old temple which seems to have been renovated. By the looks of the structure is from Pandyas time. The avudayar is square which clearly shows it’s been built by some kings of those years. The temple has separate Sannidhi for Sarvasuddhi Vinayahar and lord Murugan is known as Sivabalamurugan and is next to sivalingam.

The temple primises has a beautiful Nandavanam and lot of beautiful big trees. Also there is a a separate Sannidhi for Sabarimalai Ayyappan.A must visit temple and a serene peaceful place
