Nestled in serene surroundings, this beautiful Shiva temple, lovingly maintained by the Kanchi Periyava Trust, offers a deeply peaceful and spiritual experience. The temple faces the west and is adorned with an elegant three-tier Rajagopuram, along with sacred sannidhis for Sri Aadhi Shankaracharya and Lord Dakshinamurthy.
There is a separate sannidhi for Ambal facing south. It is surrounded by Arthanareeswarar, madurai meenakshi, Varahi amman and Aroopa lakshmi.
Blessed by the revered Kanchi Paramacharya, this 20th-century temple holds a special spiritual significance. Daily worship is conducted through five kala poojas, with particularly vibrant and sacred observances during Pradosham and Maha Shivaratri.
Opening its doors at 6:00 AM, the temple welcomes devotees into a calm and tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery and a beautiful park. It is an ideal place for meditation, reflection, and inner peace.
There is a big museum where they kept and worshiped mahaperiyava pathukai and other statues.
