Amman: Sri Bramhakamakshi Ambal

A good 2000 years old temple in the beautiful village of Karumbakam. There is no known history for this temple.The temple has a beautiful prakaram with lot of flowering plants. 

The moolavar is facing east and the moolavar structure is vey old and is in granite. Moolavar Mallikatheeswarar is very small shivalingam and Ambal Bramhakamakshi is facing south. 

The praharam has Sannidhi for Pillayar, Vallidevasena samedha Subramaniam, Natarajar, Navagrahas, Nalavar, Suryan and Chandran. The Raja Gopuram is a 3 tiered Gopuram. The sthala vriksham is Vilvam.
