This is one of the 7 Siva temples in Thaiyur village. A well maintained Temple in middle of the residential area. The moolavar is facing East and Azhagambigai is facing South.
It is believed the sivalingam is around 2000 years old and was found here in 2004 and then a temple was built around it and all other sannidhis were built.
Separate Sannidhi for Ayyappan, Hyagrivar, Hanuman, Navagrahas and Byravar is there.
