A good 1000 year old Sivalingam has been found here in a well and later a temple has been built around it . In earlier days it’s said that this temple was spanned in an area of 7 acres. Now there is not even a proper approach road to this temple which is really a sad state of affair.
There is a unique stone Natarajar here along with Sivakami Ambal. Also you have an old murthy of Karaikal Amayar and few Nayanmargal
Devi Vadivanbal is facing south. Separate Sannidhi for Navagraham, Anjaneyar, Byiravar.
You also have all ghosta murthies as found in any shiva temple.
This temple really needs more support and contributions for care taking.
