Sri SivaKozhundeeswarar Temple, Mangadu

Moolavar: Sri SivaKozhundeeswarar
Amman: Sri Karpagambikai
Place: Kozhumanivakkam, Mangadu

Apparently the sivalingam has been under the sthalavrikshnam (peepul and Neem tree together) for over 80 years plus and 10 years ago the temple was built.

The lord is facing west like Kapalishwarar which is very rare phenomena as most of the Shiva temples face East. There are no ghosta murthies, in the praharam you have Nalvar Sannidhi, chandeekeshwarar and Navagrahas.

The Temple is located at about 300 meters from Kozhumanivakkam Bus Stop, 1.5 Kms from Mangadu Bus Stop, 1.5 Kms from Mangadu Kamakshi Amman Temple

The temple opens by 7 am
