A good 1000 years old sivalingam and it belongs to the Siddharkadu Sidhars. One of the Sidhar has been belived to have attained Jeeva Samadhi in this place.
They had found the linga banam which was of 5 ½ feet and the Avudayar has been done in sudhai instead of regular granite.
The surrounding lands has all been grabbed illegally and hence there has been no development and the temple is just in a form of shed. But there is Nithya puja going on and also Pradhosham puja also is done regularly.
